Laerskool Die President, situated in Germiston, was recently forced to close its doors after a number of bathrooms were vandalised. The perpetrators stole all the taps and copper pipes out of the children’s bathrooms, as well as the toilet handles.
The school has managed to get the plumbing back in working condition but the school is in dire need of funds to refurbish the bathrooms.
The organisers are asking people who hire out jumping castles if they can donate one for the day
A groot sokkie and fun day will be held on 5 May from 10 am till late at Laerskool Die President, Astronomy Road, and attendees can enjoy Music from the 70’s till now, Country, Boeremusiek.
Parking is free. R25 per adult, R20 per child and R50 per cooler box. Every family must bring a tin of food or pack of rice or pack of Mielie meel for the schools feeding scheme.
