Standout Performances By St Andrews’s Pupils

Three St Andrew’s students, Bupe Ruele, Courtney Jeffrey and Luyanda Gumede have once again proven that St Andrew’s students deliver time and again. From international swimming successes to academic excellence, these students have it all.

Congratulations to Bupe Ruele, a grade 9 pupil from St Andrew’s School for Girls, on her selection to represent Botswana in swimming at the Africa Youth Games from 12 July to the 25 July in Algeria.

Courtney Jeffrey, a grade 12 pupil from St Andrew’s School for Girls, passed her grade 8 pianoforte Unisa exam with distinction. She received 88%.

Luyanda Gumede, a grade 9 pupil from St Andrew’s School for Girls, participated in the all ages Gauteng Schools Netball Tournament and her team finished in 5th place overall out of 22 teams. They lost their quarter final game by 1 goal. Being selected for the Gauteng Schools Netball team is the highest one can achieve at this level.
