We all know that Bedfordview and the surrounding suburbs are a very special place to live, work and play. The village feel and a sense of community you get here is unlike anything else in Johannesburg, and looking at social media, events, shopping, and schools in the area, it is clear that many of us have very little need to venture very far to find everything we need. ViewToday.co.za is a hub of news that builds on that sense of community and also promotes and helps local businesses flourish.
What is in a name?
We gave the name of the website a LOT of thought and wanted it to target Bedfordview, Senderwood, Edenvale, Primrose, Kensington etc – But calling it The Bedenkingrose just seemed like a tongue twister. We also want people to contribute their news and… view it today – So View Today was born.
News for the locals, by the locals.
We write and feature news stories that are relevant to the Bedfordview area and surrounding suburbs, and because we’re from here, we like to think that we have a good idea of the type of content residents of this beautiful suburb would like to see. If we don’t get it right though, there’s no need to stress; anyone can contribute! If you think you have a story, submit it on our site and if it’s up to scratch, we’ll feature it on our website.
