In the spirit of Mandela Day, branding at Lambano Sanctuary’s offices in Malvern, Germiston, were recently refreshed and enhanced by mural artist, Colleen Lourens. View Today contributed to the project with a donation.
Lambano’s Fundraising Manager, Quinique Jagers, said, ‘Having partnered with Lourens on previous projects, we know first-hand the warmth and inspiration her work brings to our children, families, and staff.’
Established in 2001, Lambano Sanctuary is a public medical step-down hospice with the key focus on palliative care for children and adolescents suffering from life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses.
Lambano have already taken the first steps: all walls have been prepared and painted, and work has begun, but they also need help to cover the remaining costs and fully bring the vision to life.
Those who wish to donate to completing the branding mural project, and transform the outdoor area, reception, and hospice feature wall into spaces of hope, warmth, and healing, can donate here.
