The Bedfordview Community Police Forum (BCPF) is facilitating a community clean up initiative at Bill Stewart Nature Reserve. The BCPF is calling on all residents to get involved in this initiative. The reserve is a high risk access point to the Bedfordview neighbourhood and needs the concerted effort of everyone to secure it.
Clean Up Initiative details:
Time: 08h30 on Saturday, 15th May 2021.
Meeting point: corner of Kloof Road and Florence Avenue, Bedfordview.
The SAPS, BCPF and security companies will be conducting a security sweep of the reserve. Once security presence is in place, the Better Bedfordview team and residents will enter the reserve.
You will need to bring: gloves, a hat, sunscreen, rubbish bags, spades, buckets or similar for collection of glass, etc.
