On 8 August 2020, Nicola McDonald organised a clean-up of Oriel Park. She was joined by other Bedfordview residents who helped to get the park looking good again.
‘I initiated this clean up because for as long as I can remember, Oriel Park has been a beautiful place to enjoy nature. For a while though, it hasn’t looked good and is just unpleasant to walk in. So the idea of this clean-up was to get even just a few people to come together so we could make a change for the better, and we did! The park is so much more enjoyable for everyone now. Thank you to everyone who helped,’ said McDonald.
