On Sunday, 27 July, the streets of Bedfordview turned a vibrant pink as thousands came together for the incredible Shuffling Walking Team 14th Annual Family Fun Walk for Cancer Awareness, which was well-supported. The team thanked everyone who joined in.
‘Your energy, smiles and support made it a day to remember! Together, we walked not just for fun but for hope, awareness and the fight against cancer. Whether you walked, donated volunteered, or cheered us on, you made a difference. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!’
These beneficiaries each received R120,000:
– Breast Health Foundation.
– Stepping Stone Hospice.
– East Rand Palliative Care (formerly Hospice East Rand).
– The Cows (CHOC)
