Emperors Palace is proud to introduce the biggest holiday event of the year and a first in South Africa. The Christmas Village at Emperors Palace is a Bavarian-themed holiday experience that is a dedicated winter wonderland for the whole family, spanning approximately two rugby fields.

Stroll through an authentic Christmas wonderland, perfect for the whole family and will guaranteed to fill visitors with the festive spirit. This event has required: 36,600 bulbs, 23,300 cable ties, 3km of fairy lights, 4km of Snow, 860 litres of paint, 20,000 screws, 600 pallets, 200 Christmas Trees and 5km of wood.

Filled with Christmas cheer, this wonderland consists of a quaint town square, stalls, food, lights, snow and a whole lot of fun.

Tunnel of Lights and Winter Wonderland: enter this fantastical world through the a light tunnel extravaganza consisting of over 36,000 lights that shine like stars in the night sky.

Snow Town: browse over 40 stalls, grab a bite to eat or a hot drink to warm you up. You might just find a unique trinket along the way to make your day. There is also the Checkers holiday stall complete with holiday goodies for young and old.

The Village Square: the majesty of a quaint Bavarian Christmas comes to life in The Village Square. Stroll the streets, take photos and peek through windows and even leave a holiday message on the Town Memory wall. It’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Europe.

Winter Wonderland: boasting a breathtaking light display complete with fairies, elves, gnomes, goblins and reindeers peeking out from a fantasy forest.
