Brainy Birds, a non-profit animal welfare organisation, needs donations to keep going during these tough times. They have not been able to have any successful fundraising events due to Covid-19 restrictions.
As yet, they have not been able to raise enough funds to pay their running costs, vet bills, outstanding food accounts, their property loan and outstanding debt, and have very little funds in their account.
Brainy Birds, which was founded by Dee Hendricks, provides a safe, loving environment for the recovery, conservation and life-long care of over 250 companion parrots. They have more than 250 birds in their care, and need help in raising funds to ensure their ongoing nutrition, comfort and wellbeing in a secure, eco-friendly and loving environment.
Misunderstood, mistreated, neglected or handicapped, various species of these pre-homed exotic birds have all been welcomed, fed, revived and loved. Some have been fortunate enough to find new, forever homes with families that have been equipped with the vital information needed to ensure their wellbeing. They rely on the love and dedication of a small team of full-time staff. The rest of the time it is the volunteers that sacrifice their time to come through and feed their flock.
