The Pharmacy at SPAR Eastleigh, in association with the RySky Foundation, hosted a cupcake-filled event in support of children with Cancer on 17 September.
‘We are extremely grateful to everyone who pitched in with baking and donating cupcakes and to the many folks who supported the initiative through buying cupcakes, making donations or phoning in pledges. With the support of the Edenvale and extended community, we have raised a whopping R10,000 for Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer!’ said a statement from the pharmacy.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and this inspiring initiative by Cupcakes of Hope was aimed at providing financial and emotional support to the families of children with Cancer.
Cupcakes of Hope is a non-profit company and a Public Benefit Organisation that raises awareness and funds through their love of baking cupcakes. Their events bring the whole community together for an awesome cause.
