New Restaurant On The Bedfordview Block: Lemoni

By Meggan McCarthy

Lemoni merges Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisines, along with freshly baked goods daily. Co-owner Alexia Damianou tells us more about which culinary delights to expect.

Can you tell us more about Lemoni?

Lemoni is owned by myself and my sister Dina. We were given the opportunity to take over the current space and create our own brand and concept. I am a trained professional chef, and Dina is currently completing her master’s in Education.

What are your signature dishes?

Our Gyro, Sesame Crusted Chicken Breasts, Tsoureki French Toast and Breakfast Bruschetta.

Do you cater for vegans, gluten-free requests, etc?

Yes. We can replace any meat element on the menu with crispy vegan falafel. We are also in the process of designing a new summer menu with a ton of gluten-free and vegan options. All our bakery items and breads are made in-house, and we can also accommodate special requests, such as gluten-free and vegan breads.

What atmosphere can people expect?

We attract anyone and everyone and have something for everyone on our menu. Our courtyard is fresh and inviting and that pulls through into our dining space when we open our large stacked doors.

What else do you offer?

We also host events, functions, produce platters and receive bakery orders for individuals and other restaurant establishments.

Address: 11 Park Street, Bedfordview.
