Bedfordview CPF, SAPS, EMPD and RAG, together with other interested local security companies, will be conducting a security sweep of the Morninghill koppie at 09h30. Thereafter the Clean Up teams will move into the area.
There will be two Clean-Up Teams – Team 1 will focus on the collection of refuse and Team 2 on the removal of alien invasive vegetation.
Date: Sunday, 22nd March 2020.
Time: 09h30 – Security Sweep, 10h00 – 12h00 – Clean Up.
Meeting Point: 1 Pulford Lane, Top of John Road, Senderwood, Bedfordview.
What you will need to bring:
Team 1: gloves, hat, sunscreen, rubbish bags, hand spade, bucket or similar for collection of glass.
Team 2: gloves, hat, sunscreen, rubbish bags and gardening tools.
Students can register on Community Hours – www.communityhourssa.co.za – for the Better Bedfordview initiative. Student volunteers that are registered are able to log all of their hours online and print certificates detailing the hours that they volunteered.
