Poetry in Eastgate Shopping Centre and the Princess Project are hosted an event on 27 August to celebrate Women’s Month. The Princess Project is an NPO that provides Matric farewell outfits to less fortunate girls, as they believe every young lady should feel beautiful and empowered on this special day.
Attendees helped Poetry support this worthy cause by bringing along a previously loved item of clothing, footwear or accessories to donate to The Princess Project’s closet. Event attendees were treated to something to eat and drink, as well as 20% less shopping. The store is also giving customers the opportunity to donate R10 upon checkout when shopping in any store (except online) – and Poetry will match every donation made. Gauteng clothing donations can also be made at Menlyn Park Shopping Centre. Donations can be dropped off at the stores throughout August.
