Edenvale-based Teeg’s Garden Centre and coffee shop is hosting a garden fair every Saturday that will support local products and goods.
There will be stalls with homemade jewellery, food, homemade soaps, biltong, arts and crafts and much more. Visitors can help support the Edenvale Feral NPO and Beacon of Hope organisations, which will have stalls. Six stalls will be featured every Saturday and these will be different each time.
‘This initiative came about after numerous members of the local community approached us to sell their goods at the nursery,’ said Diane Masterten-Smith, owner, Teegs Garden Centre. ‘This would be impossible as we don’t have the space, so we decided to rather give them a space to sell their goods. The response has been quite amazing and we are fully booked for March and are now booking for April.’
The fair is taking place at 29 Andries Pretorius Road, Edenvale. There is no entrance fee.
