The newly opened six-star Body Action Gym opened its doors on 14 June. The gym provides access to world-class technology and fitness innovations.
The facility occupies 5000sqm and boasts Africa’s first fully connected MyWellness environment using Technogym’s state-of-the-art ARTIS DIAMOND BLACK equipment. The facility also includes personalised nutritional and lifestyle guidance. With the MyWellness app, users can book their favourite classes, choose their programmes and easily track their results.
Members can also experience the ultimate immersive training sessions with resident DJ Austin Cassim, and the very best in sound and lighting equipment.
Group classes are diverse, and include: spinning, yoga, pilates, zumba, CrossFit (there is a dedicated outdoor rig for this) step class, boxing, bootcamp, HIIT, high-energy martial arts inspired workouts by Les Mills and more. All group classes are included in the monthly membership fee.
The gym also features a full-sized boxing ring where specialist trainers keep users on their toes; an open air basketball court; a 50m sprint track and an iPlay kids club, to keep children busy while their parents train.
Kilojoule Café focuses exclusively on health and wellness, built on the foundation that wellness is an all-encompassing way of life. The onsite LIVE FIT store features the latest in activewear.
