For those who want to unleash their inner rockstars, Bailey’s Live hosts Karaoke Night every Thursday at 7pm. Once a month they also host ‘Down the Decades’, a dance and DJ night, celebrating the memory of music from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s – giving visitors a true experience of what it was like going to a top nightclub during these decades. Other recurring features to their line-up are the ‘Alternative Rock Nights’ and ‘Beeg ’80s Party’ nights.
They do not slack on Sundays and keep the entertainment alive with their ‘Sunday Acoustics’, featuring various local acoustic acts. Once a month they also bring a Sunday afternoon of house music with ‘Air 55’. Bailey’s also caters to pets – it is a dog friendly facility, with customers welcome to bring their dogs for an outing during daytime trading.
Their midweek schedule includes Comedy Nights, Audition Nights, Karaoke Nights and they will soon be introducing Quiz Nights to their line-up. In their downstairs section, you will find a unique and classy sports bar with one big screen and two smaller screen TVs.
With current lockdown restrictions, their entertainment schedule is limited. However, they are very active on social media platforms, which are always up to date.
Bailey’s boasts an upmarket bar with a stage where they host live entertainment. In the past, they have hosted Prime Circle, Just Jinjer, Watershed, Clout, Wonderboom, Matthew Mole, Daniel Barron, Jesse Clegg, Arno Carstens, Dan Patlansky, The Parlotones and many more. At the end of 2020, they established their very own resident band, The Bailey’s Bulleys, a vibey party band that can be seen at Bailey’s every Saturday night.
Their menu is a unique approach to bar food that include pizzas, burgers, grills, hot pots and much more. They also have a separate ‘Jack Daniels Menu’ with meals designed and crafted by Jack Daniels to include their speciality drinks and sauces. Burgers and pizzas are their most popular meals, with the Baxter Burger – a double burger with cheese, bacon and a fried egg topped with blue cheese – as the hero of their menu.
