As a result of its success under the RAG banner, Better Bedfordview will become a separate non-profit organisation on 1 June 2022. It will receive dedicated focus and management. RAG will continue to be a supporter of Better Bedfordview but will focus on security and the protection of property, which is RAG’s principal mandate.
It is thanks to the caring and community-spirited RAG members that Better Bedfordview was able to get off the ground and make the difference that they have so far. Now, it is time for Better Bedfordview to grow, because it is imperative that they do more to stop the deterioration of the area and protect property values. They must build on what RAG started and mobilise the whole community. They must get all residents, homeowners, local businesses, shops, restaurants, schools, estate agents, security companies and other stakeholders involved in making Bedfordview better.
In due course, new membership fees will be announced, as well as a new communication, payment and fundraising platform for Better Bedfordview, enabled by OUTA.
