The spookiest day of the year, which takes place on 31 October, According to history.com – Halloween originated from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. We share the trending costumes for 2019 as well as Halloween events.

Venue: Brainy Birds Parrot Rescue – Edenvale.

About the event: A nighttime Halloween Fundraiser event at Brainy Birds’ sanctuary to raise much-needed funds for their beautiful flock.
